Value Contents Claims Straight from ClaimSearch®
Open ValueChecker from the claim in Verisk ClaimSearch® and get fast, accurate and consistent RCV and ACV valuations, with the itemized report added to the claim automatically. Test our solution risk-free with our exclusive 1-month pilot program.
How It Works
ValueChecker opens straight from the claim in Verisk ClaimSearch®, already set up with the claim number. The adjuster adds the claimed items, and the itemized valuation report goes back to the same claim.
Launch from the claim
Open ValueChecker from the claim in ClaimSearch®. Adjusters sign in with their Verisk account, and the claim is created in ValueChecker under the same claim number. No extra password, nothing retyped.
Add the claimed items
Search for each item, import the claimant's spreadsheet, or upload a photo or receipt. ValueChecker identifies every product, finds a like-kind-and-quality replacement and calculates RCV and ACV.
Track it on the claim
As soon as the first items are in, the claim in ClaimSearch® shows ValueChecker as in progress, with a link that reopens the claim in ValueChecker.
In progressReport on the claim
The itemized PDF report, with RCV and ACV for every item, is added to the claim in ClaimSearch® automatically and the status changes to completed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does ValueChecker work with Verisk ClaimSearch?
ValueChecker is integrated in Verisk ClaimSearch®. Adjusters open it from the claim in ClaimSearch and sign in with their Verisk account, and the claim is set up in ValueChecker with the same claim number. The adjuster adds the claimed items, ValueChecker finds like-kind-and-quality replacements and calculates RCV and ACV, and the itemized PDF report is added to the claim in ClaimSearch automatically.
Do adjusters need a separate ValueChecker login?
No. Adjusters sign in with their Verisk account when they open ValueChecker from a claim in ClaimSearch®. Every launch signs in again, each browser tab keeps its own session, and when the Verisk session ends, ValueChecker asks the adjuster to sign in again.
Which claim data does ClaimSearch send to ValueChecker?
ClaimSearch® passes the claim number when ValueChecker is opened from the claim, so the right claim is set up automatically. The claimed items themselves are added in ValueChecker.
Can adjusters add items from a spreadsheet or photos?
Yes. Items can be searched one by one, imported in bulk from a spreadsheet, or added from a photo or receipt: ValueChecker reads the products on it and the adjuster picks the right one.
What happens when a claim is opened from ClaimSearch again?
ValueChecker opens the existing claim instead of creating a duplicate, so the items and valuations added earlier are kept.
Can another carrier see our claims?
No. In ValueChecker a ClaimSearch® claim number belongs to one carrier, and a launch from another carrier cannot open it. ValueChecker is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 attested.
What is an LKQ replacement product?
LKQ stands for like kind and quality: a replacement product that matches the claimed item’s specifications and quality level. When the exact item is no longer sold, ValueChecker’s objective LKQ analysis finds the closest current equivalent: fast, defensible, and consistent across adjusters.
What results can carriers expect?
Carriers measure a 20% reduction in indemnity on contents claims, 60% faster item handling, and roughly 20 points of NPS improvement, driven by faster and better-documented settlements.
Is the ClaimSearch integration available for my carrier?
ValueChecker is switched on per carrier: during onboarding we link your carrier in ClaimSearch® to your ValueChecker account. Contact us and we will check your setup and start the pilot.
